in Transylvania County, NC.

Miles Leander Killian (son) is the far left, James Watt Killian is the center one and His wife, Jane Lousia Clayton Killian on far right. Miles lost his life as a confederate soldier at Frasers Farm Battle, Virginia. 19 years, 2 months, 6 days old. Inscriptions reads “Died at Frasers Farm Va In Defense Of The Lost Cause” (June 30, 1862)
