Comments: My grandfather, Henry Robert Killian, Sr. was born in Hickory, N. C. late in the 19th century around 1894 He married Christine Sanders in Florence, S. C., and their only child, Henry Robert Killian, Jr. is my father.
His sisters, brothers in law, and nephews came down to SC from Hickory to his funeral in South Carolina in 1980. It was amazing to me to see so much family resemblance. My brother and my dad could have been brothers to all the cousins. Same physical features, mannerisms, cadence of speech and impeccable good manners.
I would love to hear from anyone who remembers my grandfather, or father, Aunt Blanche, cousin Pete Rowe, cousin Richard Killian(who was in the Navy and visited our home in New York in 1959 or 60)or anyone else who would like to get to know us.
I have seven children of my own and four grandchildren. Two of them have Killian as a middle name.

Comments: A number of us Killian descendants have Ashabranner ancestors who married into the Killian family. In the early 1800's the Ashabranner's left Lincoln County and moved to Indiana just as the new state of Indiana was being formed. If anyone is intereted in this branch of the family tree, I can connect them with the Ashabranner's in Indiana whose family history traces back to Lincoln County.

Comments: Can you account for the Killian family from Germany/ Pa to NC? John Michael and Margarette Price were married and living in Virginia and having their first child in 1744 when Crete was supposedly being born in Germany. The Price family is totally accounted for througout the history of the Shenandoah Valley and New River Valley of Virginia. NOONE has yet to report a Killian name in Virginia or any association with the Price Family.
Why don't your Fischers, and Klines and Longs, Hagers, etc and all the other names you mention corroborate any of your reporting?
My MAIN question is how did the Killians show up in ~ 1999 claiming connection with the Michael Price Family of Virginia? Who contacted whom? Even today, members of John Michael's direct line, through his son, John Michael jr; through Lewis (Ludowick) Sr, Lewis Jr, James Crockett and Charles Luther Price have no belief in this Killian/ Price connection. The Hager/Killian dates are not working out either. T
